RESEARCH
Over time, the Department of Law at the University of Perugia (UNIPG) has increased its commitment at the national, European, and international levels, distinguishing itself through funding, publications, and research grants. The Department of Law actively supports the participation of faculty and researchers in competitive national and international calls for proposals, both for individual projects and partnerships. We promote a culture of research open to international discussion, as an essential factor for professional and personal growth and for achieving results with high scientific, cultural, and social impact.
THIRD MISSION
The Third Mission of the Department of Law at the University of Perugia promotes the interaction between legal research and society, focusing on social development, the dissemination of constitutional values, the training of legal professions, the improvement of administrative activity, and the protection of rights, including equality and disability projects.
The main activities are divided into three strategic areas:
- Public Engagement: engaging the public through conferences, meetings, and the dissemination of legal culture.
- Continuing Education and Support: projects for the training of judges, lawyers, and public administration.
- Enhancement of Research: applying legal expertise to foster social innovation and the protection of fundamental rights.
The Department promotes knowledge transfer to actively contribute to the cultural and civic growth of the region.
